Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic cataloguer to join the Cataloguing Section creating and maintaining bibliographic and authority records for books, serials, electronic resources and special collections using the Unicorn library management system. A significant element of the post will be to help with the Library’s Collections Project, reviewing collections and creating and upgrading records for items being relegated to a Store or to a special collection. The post also combines cataloguing some new Faculty of Arts and Humanities material with some reference enquiry work and support for Liaison Librarians working in the Faculty team. ----------- Please see also advertisement for UMASCS Graduate Trainee Library Assistant by this employer.
