Job Description

Leeds University Library attracts students and scholars from around the world to its rich and extensive resources. The Library’s Special Collections include around 200,000 rare books and hundreds of thousands of unique manuscripts and archives, including the renowned Brotherton Collection. The University is currently seeking a new Librarian and Keeper of the Brotherton Collection. The post-holder will be responsible for all aspects of the strategic planning, management and development of the Library. The successful candidate should have significant prior experience at a senior level within a sizable and diverse academic library combined with a full understanding of current issues relating to the provision and development of scholarly resources.
