Job Description

You are a chartered librarian, who has experience of supervising and motivating staff. As well as being committed to developing an integrated school and public library service you have an interest in and knowledge of ICT applications. You also have the ability to develop and promote ICT facilities and manage a budget. An ECDL qualification is essential (or gain it within 2 years). Based in the school library, you will be responsible for meeting lifelong learning and cultural needs of the school and community in a defined network through the provision of an integrated library service. You will also be required to develop and deliver library and information literacy skills programmes to pupils which will provide enrichment opportunities for children and young people.
