Librarian (Transition)

Job Description

Working within a strong Library team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering library sessions promoting literacy and reading to all Academy students and the wider community. Your role includes a specific remit to work with pupils from our Feeder Primary Schools to support literacy and to promote the Academy. Awareness of literacy strategies are essential and knowledge of the Primary curriculum is an advantage.

A creative and enthusiastic approach is essential. You will be a qualified librarian with proven post qualification library experience and experience of working with children in a similar role.
