Subject Librarian

Job Description

Based in the Medical Library, you will join a team of medical librarians providing professional library services to the Faculty of Medical & Veterinary Science and the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.

You will contribute to the general work of the team, including the information literacy teaching programme, collection management and development and enquiry work. You will also provide specific subject support for the Departments of Anatomy and Biochemistry, in the first instance.

Pro-active and innovative, you will have an enthusiastic approach to service delivery and a good understanding of the HE environment. You will be a graduate with a postgraduate qualification in librarianship or information management, or equivalent, with significant relevant experience in a library or information service.
