Information Advisor (Faculty of Health & Social Care Sciences Subject Team)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work within the Health & Social Care Sciences subject team. You will work closely with the Senior Information Advisors and Information Assistants in the team, which supports the Schools of Midwifery, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiography and Social Work.You will contribute to the development and delivery of information skills teaching and provide high quality customer focused information and support in the LRCs. You should have excellent communication, interpersonal and ICT skills, a professional library qualification or considerable experience of working in a library or information services (or similar environment).The ability to demonstrate initiative and work as part of a team is essential. If you feel that you have the strong focus on supporting users that we are looking for, we would like to hear from you.

Kingston University Information Services operates a 37 hour week with considerable flexibility in working hours within our annualised hours scheme.You will be expected to contribute to non-core working in the evening and at weekends.The post will be based at the Kingston Hill LRC, but you may also be required to attend at other campuses.
