Job Description

These are exciting times for Newport Community Learning and Libraries. We are committed to providing first class resources to promote lifelong learning, literacy, reader development and social inclusion.

With a recognised library qualifi cation, you will work actively in the community creating and delivering a library and information service specifi c to the needs of a particular area, with the aim of reaching the widest possible audience.

All Community Library Manager posts are interchangeable across the city. Possessing excellent communication skills, you will be experienced in community work and managing staff. In addition to taking pleasure in working with people of all ages and abilities, you should be able to cope with pressure and be adaptable to change.
