Job Description

These are exciting times for Newport Community Learning and Libraries. We are committed to providing fi rst class resources to promote lifelong learning, literacy, reader development and social inclusion.

Working in a high achieving and customer focused service you will need to be able to deliver bibliographical services to meet the changing demands of the public in the 21st century, ensuring optimum performance of library materials for the citizens of Newport while supporting the development of their reading choices.

You will play a key role in the procurement of a new library management system and the implementation of the bibliographic services elements of that system early this year.
