Merlin Information Manager – Based at RSPB UK Headquarters, Sandy, Bedfordshire

£21,000 – £24,500 pa

Are you organised, excited about documents and familiar with the benefits that SharePoint can bring? If so we need you! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to help implement and lead the RSPB’s conservation information management programme. Joining the Conservation Data Management Unit, you will have experience of information, data and/or document management, preferably with expertise in using Microsoft SharePoint software or similar.

A good communicator, highly computer literate and with some experience of managing projects, you will work to direct, promote and develop information management across our conservation programmes. You will be a great team player, able to work with all our conservation teams to design and implement document management to best effect for each team. You’ll train and inspire colleagues in using SharePoint in a way that integrates with our GIS system Merlin. You’ll lead on developing our information policies and a positive culture that enables everyone to benefit from and appreciate all that information management can achieve.

Your role will be at the heart of the RSPB’s conservation work, ensuring that our conservation information is available and well-managed so that only the best decisions for wildlife are made.
